Content gap: Expand weak coverage in 5 existing topic clusters #41

Gap

We have thin coverage (1-2 articles) in 5 key areas where competitors have 10+.

What's missing per cluster

Electrical (currently: breaker-tripping, replace-outlet, diy-vs-pro):

  • How to install a light fixture (first-time friendly)
  • How to replace a light switch (single-pole + 3-way)
  • GFCI outlet installation guide
  • How to reset a GFCI outlet (extremely common beginner question)
  • Understanding your breaker panel (labeling, organizing)

Drywall (currently: patch-drywall):

  • Full drywall installation for small rooms
  • How to tape and mud drywall joints
  • Texturing techniques (orange peel, knockdown, skip trowel)
  • Repairing corner bead
  • Painting drywall: primer, paint types, techniques

Plumbing (currently: leaky-faucet, running-toilet, garbage-disposal, slow-drain):

  • How to replace a toilet (complete)
  • Showerhead replacement
  • Tub drain repair / stopper replacement
  • How to shut off main water valve
  • Outdoor spigot / hose bib repair
  • Water pressure troubleshooting

Flooring (currently: squeaky-floor):

  • How to repair tile (cracked tile, grout repair)
  • Laminate flooring installation for beginners
  • Carpet stain removal and spot cleaning
  • Hardwood floor scratch repair
  • How to fix a loose threshold

Doors (currently: stuck-door):

  • How to replace an interior door
  • Door lock installation and replacement
  • Weatherstripping and draft prevention
  • Sliding door track repair
  • How to install a door closer / self-closing hinge

Strategy

Aim for 3-5 articles per cluster to establish topical authority. Start with the highest-volume terms.
