Problem

Almost every article lists author: "FirstHomeFix" — a generic brand name with no face, no credentials, no bio page. This hurts E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) from Google's perspective.

What competitors do

  • The Spruce: Review Board of licensed contractors, reviewer credentials at bottom of every article
  • This Old House: Named contractors with bios and credentials
  • Bob Vila: Named authors with links to their professional profiles

Suggested fix

  1. Create author profiles in content/authors/ with name, photo, bio, credentials, links
  2. Update article frontmatter to reference real author slugs
  3. Display author byline + mini-bio on article pages
  4. Create /authors/[slug]/ route with full author page and list of their articles

Medium-high — important for SEO authority but lower than content volume.
